Splunk Log Stream "could not reach endpoint" Error

Problem Statement:

After setting up a Splunk log stream, there are “Could not reach endpoint” errors.

Solution:

“Could not reach endpoint” error indicates a connectivity problem. It should not occur if the Splunk token is simply correct.
If the connection timed out or there was a TLS problem, this error might occur.

If Verify TLS is enabled, please verify the certificate is valid.

In the case of Private Cloud where you are able to connect from a local machine, it’s likely a connectivity problem on the instance. So please contact our Support Team to check the connectivity.
