Hi everyone,
Can we define authentication flow based on the selected role BEFORE login?
The flow should be different for different roles. For example “contractor” role should not allow sign up and can use only MS Entra account to login. However “member_of_public” should be able to use their OTP confirmed emails and no other authenetication means.
Can we do this with auth0?

Thank you for posting your question. I’ve checked, and the Pre-User-Registration trigger for Action won’t allow you to modify the Authentication Flow based on the role. However, that’s a great feature initiative, and I would encourage you to open a new thread in the Feedback category explaining your use case and describing the feature!
