SAML IdP, simultaneously sign assertion and response

SAML Identity Provider Configuration Settings mentions that

  • The SAML assertion, and the SAML response can be individually or simultaneously signed.

but doesn’t suggest how both can be signed simultaneously, I need this for integration with rollbar.com. SAML Identity Providers

(you can sign either the assertion or the response, but not both)
