I wanted to inquire whether log IDs expire, or if I can use a log ID to fetch logs with a log ID greater than the one specified in the from parameter without worrying about log ID expiry. I tested this in my free tenant and was able to successfully call the api/v2/log endpoint with any log ID in the from parameter and retrieve logs.
Additionally, if log IDs never become invalid. This will always return logs that have a log ID greater than the one specified and are also within the retention period of the tenant, correct?
