We selected prompt for credentials option in Application (Applications → Organizations → Business Users → Prompt for Credentials) and Username-Password-Authentication connection is enabled for the application but it is redirecting to SSO login for our business emails.
We are trying to reply and provide some information to older posts, in case others encounter the same issue and find it useful.
In situations where Prompt for Credentials and Identifier First Authentication are being used, this will prompt a user for their email address during login. In case there are any Enterprise Connections setup with HRD ( Home Realm Discovery ) set to a domain which matches the user’s email address, HRD will take effect and redirect the user to the IdP for authentication.
In such cases, it is recommended to maintain a strict relationship between a HRD domain and an Enterprise Connection, as to prevent potential conflicts and redirects when it would not be ideal.
We would suggest searching through your Organizations to see which have an Enterprise Connection enabled and check HRD is enabled for them, for the domain matching the email address of the users that are being redirected. It might be required to remove the Enterprise Connection, if one is found as the source of the issue, from your Organization/s to ensure the correct flow and set it up again if required.
