This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Okta, Inc., 100 First Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94105 (“Sponsor” or “Okta”) and opens on December 1, 2025 at 8:00 am Eastern Time and ends on December 26, 2025 at 8:00 am Eastern Time (the “Contest Period”). Entry into this Contest is acceptance of these Official Rules, which are final and binding.

Who is Eligible: The Contest is only open to individuals who are age 18 or older at the time of entry, and are participating members of the Auth0 community. The following people are not eligible to enter the Contest: (a) employees or internally contracted vendors of Okta or any of its affiliates; (b) the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) or household members of those employees or vendors; (c) anyone involved in the development or administration of the Contest; (d) employees, vendors or officials of any government or government-affiliated entity; or (e) any person whose employer’s guidelines or regulations do not allow entry into the Contest. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that their participation in the Contest complies with any policies their employer may have regarding participation in promotions of this type. This Contest is void in countries or regions where prohibited or restricted by law.

How to Enter: To enter the Contest, participants will need to complete the Auth0 25 Days of Auth0 challenges within the Auth0 community. Entries must be submitted during the Contest Period. Okta is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete or unintelligible entries, or for any bugs or malfunctions participants may encounter when completing the games. Only complete and valid entries will be accepted and Okta will not verify receipt of entries. Participants are required to complete all necessary information requested to be eligible to win. Invalid entries may be disqualified at Okta’s sole discretion.

How Winners are Selected: At the end of the Contest Period, winners will be determined based on who received the highest scores on their challenges. In the event of a tie, the person that completed their challenge in the fastest time will be deemed the winner.
The winners will be notified on January 7, 2026, by direct message or email in the Auth0 Community, and will be publicly announced on January 8, 2026.
- Prizes: The top four (4) winners will each receive one (1) Okta Learning certification, valued at approximately $250 USD, as well as being featured in a future Auth0 Community LinkedIn post.
Winners are responsible for any costs and expenses not specified above. No assignment or transfer is allowed by any winner. If a potential winner is unable to participate in the Contest or accept a prize, Okta shall have no further obligation to such potential winner. Okta will not replace any lost or stolen prizes after being awarded. Okta is not responsible for awarding more than the stated number of prizes.

General Conditions: Subject to applicable law, Okta may, in its sole discretion, (a) cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and these Official Rules, for any reason, at any time and without any liability, and (b) limit or restrict participation in the Contest, upon notice. Okta reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and seek damages from any individual who tampers with the operation of the Contest, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. Okta’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Privacy and Publicity: Participants acknowledge and agree that Okta may use the Contest for publicity, advertising or other marketing purposes in any media, and may use the name, voice, image, likeness, state of residence and/or prize information of potential winners as part of that publicity, without additional compensation to the potential winners. Any information you submit as part of the Contest will be used in accordance with Okta’s Privacy Policy.

Release and Limitations of Liability: By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Okta, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) errors in the administration of the Contest; (b) technical errors that may impact the Contest; (c) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (d) printing errors; (e) lost, late, or undeliverable packages or mail; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property. You further agree that in any cause of action, in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees or other legal costs. You waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

Disputes: You agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in San Francisco, California. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Okta in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than California.
To Find Out Who Won: To find out who won, please send an email to the attention of Tiffani Allen at community@auth0.com and include the name of the Contest. Okta has no obligation to respond to any requests not received within thirty (30) days of the end of the Contest Period.
