Hi! We are currently using username/password authentication, but will be moving to passwordless.
During testing, I noticed that when an existing user signs in for the first time with passwordless, they are not recognized and a new user is created under ‘email’ connection in the user management tab.
I’ve been reading the docs and realize that this is the expected behavior when switching connection methods.
How could I go about transferring our existing users (with username/password connection) to the new email connection? I tried the user import/export extension, and exported the users from the username/password connection, but there is no option to import them into email connection. I would appreciate any guidance. Thank you.
