Missing state cookie from login request

I started to get this error message when clicking the Login button:

CallbackHandlerError: Callback handler failed. CAUSE: Missing state cookie from login request (check login URL, callback URL and cookie config).

What is the “state” cookie and how can this fixed?

Hello, does this happen to you when you try to build a Docker image?
this could be related: NextJS on Auth0 fails with "Missing state cookie from login request"

I honestly don’t know what I did to fix this because it was more than 2 weeks ago.

PS: not sure how to close this issue
