MFA enrollment email link shows blank screen on re-clicking

I’m using lock and a custom mfa page (integrating mfa-widget). The success scenario for enrollment via email works fine.
But, if user clicks the link and leaves the enrollment without completing it, and then re-clicks to complete enrollment, he encounters a blank screen without mfa widget or any warning/error.
It happens on re-clicking the link after successful enrollment too.

This seems to confuse users. In any case, there should be some error message telling him that he’s already enrolled. or that the link has expired.

I went through all mfa documents but couldn’t find help related to errors (this scenario specifically).
Any feedback would be helpful.

I started getting “This link has already been used” error on re-click. don’t know what changed but it was working on its own one day. no more blank screen.
