We are trying to use impersonation via the Auth0 website (“Sign in as user” on the user page). This works well for callback URLs without wildcards, but most of our URLs do contain wildcards. There does not appear to be a way to type in a callback url, or to type in replacements for the wildcards.
How do we use the “Sign in as user” functionality on the website for a callback URL with wildcards?
You can currently use the Impersonation API, which allows you to provide a specific callback URL for the impersonation url.
The current Sign in as feature only allows you to select the callback URL from the list of Allowed Callback URL’s, but does not allow you to specify a replacement for wildcards. I have submitted this request to our engineering team, however cannot provide any ETA or guarantee whether this will be implemented.
