Email Verification for Azure AD and ADFS

I am trying to get the email verification login flow working for Azure AD. I have the following set:

  • Enable email verification flow during login for Azure AD and ADFS: Enabled
  • Default to ‘Email Verification’ setting for Azure AD/ADFS: Enabled
  • Microsoft Azure AD connection, Email Verification: Always set email_verified to ‘false’

I am using the Lock widget v11.14.1, Classic Universal Login.
The Verify Your Email form is not displayed.

The documentation says:

This new screen is rendered using the New Universal Login Experience, even if you have Universal Login configured to use the Classic Experience.

But I can’t find anymore details about how to do this. How do I get the email verification login flow to work with lock?
