1 Auth0 for AI Agents becoming generally available in late 2025, 2026 will see a surge in autonomous agents performing tasks on behalf of users. A centralized interface to govern which agents have access to which scopes—and to revoke them instantly if they deviate from “human” intent—will be essential for maintaining security as AI becomes a standard part of the tech stack.

Wish #1: Autonomous Identity Governance for the Agentic Ecosystem

The first and most transformative wish for 2026 is the expansion of Auth0’s identity framework to treat AI agents as first-class, non-human citizens with comprehensive governance. The industry has shifted from “Human-to-App” (H2A) interactions to a multi-modal environment including “Human-to-Agent” (H2A), “Agent-to-App” (A2A), and “Agent-to-Agent” (A2A) workflows. While Auth0 for AI Agents entered general availability in late 2025, the operational burden of securing these agents remains significant.

Wish #2: Frictionless B2B Multi-Tenancy Orchestrator

The second wish for 2026 is the radical simplification of multi-tenant B2B operations within Auth0 Organizations. While Organizations provide a native solution for tenant isolation, the wish is that implementing complex multi-tenant environments—including per-organization branding, SSO, and SCIM provisioning—takes less time.

Wish #3: High-Fidelity Local Development and Observability Suite

The third wish addresses the pervasive complaint regarding the gap between “secure” and “usable” in the development lifecycle. For 2026, the wish is a high-fidelity local development emulator and an integrated observability suite.
