Can I use auth0-react with classic login?

It looks like we can only customize the classic universal login using these four options

If we want to use auth0-react then we have to use the new Universal login page and to customize it we must have a custom domain.

Is there a way around it ?

You can indeed use the Classic Login experience with auth0-react - You just need to enable it in your dashboard which is outlined here. Just be aware that the Classic Login experience is no longer receiving updates and there are drawbacks when compared to New Universal Login.
