Problem statement
An Azure AD (EntraID) connection has been created with the following attributes/extended attributes enabled:
With these settings enabled, Group Names are added to the user profile but not the corresponding Group GUID. Our setup requires having both the GUID and Group Name. What is required to have the GUID populate the user profile in addition to the Group Name values?
Solution
Currently, it is not possible to retrieve GUIDs from the Azure AD (EntraID) connection, only the Group Names will be added to the authenticating user’s profile. Please consider opening a feature request on the Auth0 Community site if you would like to see this functionality added to the Auth0 product.
