Auth0 Lock: Do not show login popup if user is already authenticated

I have integrated Auth0 Lock into my landing page. When the user clicks on Log In, the Lock widget appears. How do I check to see if the user is already authenticated when they click on Log In? If they are already authenticated, I do not want to show the popup and instead redirect them to my app
