Overview

In the Auth0 dashboard under Action > Library > Custom, actions have two statuses: BUILT and DEPLOYED. This article explains the differences between them.

Solution

When creating an action on the Auth0 dashboard, there are two options: “Save Draft” and “Deploy”.

  • If “Save Draft” is selected, the action will be set to the BUILT status, which means it is still in progress.
  • If “Deploy” is selected, the action will be set to the DEPLOYED status, and the DEPLOYED action can be dragged to the flow.
