Adding a Public Key to Application Credentials via jwks Endpoint

Overview

This article discusses the use case in which customers would like to specify the jwks URI in order to add a public key to their application’s credentials.

Solution

Currently, this is not supported. However, it is on the Highly Regulated Identity product roadmap for the end of 2024. Once released, this will provide the ability to conveniently announce and rotate public keys used by Apps for Private Key JWT and JAR. There is no need to register them with Auth0, simply announce them from an owned endpoint.
