What does this mean and how do you debug it?

I got it to work. I came upon this thread checkSession() returns login_required just after login() was successful - #5 by sidle.marketing and was having the exact same issue as them with the dev keys and Google login

It was quite misleading but:

Almost always it’s simply that the session expired
It’s how you are meant to know to renew the session
If you see that error in the logs, it’s nothing to be alarmed about
