Users UI: When switching the user search type, why do you clear the input??



When I’m on the Users tab of the Manage console…

  • I (painstakingly) type a Lucene query into the box
  • Press Enter
  • See no results
  • Realize I need to select Lucene from the dropdown (you can’t intelligently detect a lucent query?)
  • Select Lucene from the dropdown
  • The query I typed is gone.
  • I type the query again
  • Press Enter
  • Finally see results

Can you please make this better?
