Problem Statement
I want to try all rules with username-password-authentication, and when I click it, I get “Something went wrong. Please contact technical support.”
Symptom
- A Custom Login page with Lock (passwordless) is enabled.
- The “Something went wrong. Please contact technical support.” is displayed on a Custom Login page (/login) after clicking “Try all rules with Username-Password-Authentication”
Steps to Reproduce
- Enable a Custom Login page with the Lock (passwordless) template.
- Click “Try all rules with Username-Password-Authentication”.
Cause:
Lock.js uses two separate controls for Passwordless and Username-Password-Authentication connections.
Solution
Please switch to New Universal Login by switching off the Custom Login page toggle.
