We have implemented a universal login box with several Apps. Each of these apps has a button. Is there a way to remove all the buttons and just have a single email/password area and the backend can determine what provider to query. For instance if someone entered in @gmail.com as their username it would query Google or @domainname.com it would query Azure Active Directory.

Unfortunately my guess answer will be no. You need to initially decide what social logins you want to use. However I highly encourage you to file in a feature request for that using our product feedback form:
