Separate login identities for users?

Hi all,

I’m a bit new to Auth0, so I apologize if this question is worded poorly.

Is there a way to have 2 separate sign up user identities?
I’m working on an application that needs to have users sign up either as users of the service or register as an ‘instructor’. Is this possible with Auth0? If so, could someone direct me to that info?

Absolutely, but I am not quite sure what you mean.

One possibility: use your app_metadata to flag users who are instructors, and return this info in the ID token.

Another possibiity: have your instructors use a different Auth0 connection (like an Azure AD connection) to login.

There are many more ways…
