How long does Bot Detection lock user out?

Hello, I have a few questions regarding bot detection:

Scenario:

  1. On mobile app built with React Native & Expo
  2. User tries logging in using incorrect email in just a few times (no more than 3).
  3. User gets locked out by bot detection mechanism.
  4. We couldn’t implement captcha to resolve this due to technical limitation (Expo).

Questions:

  1. How long will the user/device be locked for?
  2. Is there any way to unlock the account/device without resolving a Captcha?
  3. Is there a way to reduce the aggressiveness of bot-detection?

Hi there, thanks for the quick reply!

I went over the doc, and we do have plans to potentially implement passwordless approach for mobile app, which would solve the captcha problem we are facing right now
HOWEVER in the meantime, do you know the answers to the questions I have above? The doc does not seem to provide info about that.
