Google login and requesting permissions via universal login

Hi,

I am trying to figure out for quite a long time now, how can I ask for permission for the user contacts (read-only) when using auth0 universal login with Google login. I saw the following doc: https://auth0.com/docs/connections/adding-scopes-for-an-external-idp?_ga=2.8378801.2030713877.1600280198-1909892581.1595535450#2-pass-scopes-to-authorize-endpoint

However, I don’t see how can I separate my ‘/authorize’ route when using universal login. I am using passport-auth0 and I have one ‘/authorize’ route for all the connections in universal login.

Is there any solution for this?

The /authorize endpoint is part of the authorization server which, in this case, is Auth0. If Google login is enabled for a given application, there will be an option to use Google for login on the Universal Login page. Alternatively, you can explicitly request Google login using the connection=[google login connection name] option in the call to /authorize.
