Email templates not being sent

I have configured an email provider (sendgrid) and when I’m testing the email templates in the dashboard they work fine. But if the email is triggered from the login flow, it’s the default emails that are being sent out. Is there some configuration that I’m missing perhaps ?

Let’s start from the most obvious place:

Once you customised all things you’re interested in have you clicked the save button at the bottom of the page and when you go to Branding → Email Templates it shows your version not the default one?
