Email cannot be verified

I use my own database, and I set email_verified to true in the database.

When sending emails, auth0 still thinks my email_verified is false. Isn’t auth0 judged based on the fields in the database?

POST https://YOUR_DOMAIN/passwordless/start
Content-Type: application/json

  "client_id": "YOUR_CLIENT_ID",
  "client_secret": "YOUR_CLIENT_SECRET", // for web applications
  "connection": "email",
  "email": "EMAIL",
}

Hi @bianyucheng0 ,

Welcome to the Community!

Well if you have explicitly set this fields to true then there isn’t any change that you getting this fields false again. Auth0 definitely read this fields your created connection.
What ambiguity you facing.?

Hi, I am honored to be a member of the community.

I am now sending a passwordless login email, the return value is email_verified=false , and the email has not been sent. I have set email_verified to true, I don’t know why the return value is still false.

response

{"_id":"...","email":"bianyucheng0@gmail.com","email_verified":false}

I checked my user information through this api/v2/users-by-email, email_verified is indeed true.

Now I use the database that comes with auth0, and the mailbox shows verified in User Management, but when I send the email, it still shows "email_verified":false

Well that’s really not expected behavior.

I will get back to you when have the details about the specific case.
