Double Charged Customer Was able to create 2 subscriptions to our product with same email

We had a customer that was able to create a subscription with the same email twice and was double charged for 3 months… how is this possible?

Would you mind sharing more context around what you use etc.? As for now I have no info to dig into. The only thing for now I can share is account linking. So when someone logs into their account with username&password and then let’s say will use Facebook login or some other social login using the same email then those two will be treated as two separate users thus you need to use account linking for that
