Custom Text API for New Universal Login [Product Roadmap: Launched]

At Auth0, we’ve been working on providing a way to enable customizing all the texts in the New Universal Login pages.

While this is still in development we look forward to sharing updates as they occur!

You’d start with a default login screen:

After a simple command, you’ll get a new Login screen like this with all your custom phrasing:
New%20Login%20Screen

Please let us know if you have any questions or if you are interested in testing the feature with a comment below!

Great feature! Will we be able to change the text for individual languages, as the New Universal Login supports multi language based on the user’s browser?

Extremely interested. This is one of the issues that is keeping us from updating to the new experience.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

We are pleased to announce that we have shipped our Universal Login Text Customization API!

This allows customers to override any text that is rendered during the Universal Login flow with their version of it, including the error messages.

For example, given the current default Login Page:

If you execute the following command:

curl -X PUT \
  https://<TENANT>.auth0.com/api/v2/prompts/login/custom-text/en \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer eyJ0eXA..ITa7w' \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{
    "login": {
      "description": "Log in to ${companyName}!"
    }

  }'

You will get:
