Bug Report: Unable to query IPv4 addresses mapped to IPv6

The following IPv4 address returns results: https://signals.api.auth0.com/v2.0/ip/104.173.163.20

However, when the ::ffff: IPv6 subnet is appended to it, it returns a 404:
https://signals.api.auth0.com/v2.0/ip/::ffff:142.202.48.212
Properly encoding it returns a 200 but an empty response (no results):
https://signals.api.auth0.com/v2.0/ip/%3A%3Affff%3A142.202.48.212

I would expect to get the same results as for the IPv6 mapped address as for the IPv4 address.

Let me reach out to the team responsible for developing Signals to find more about it!

Hey there!

Sorry for the delay in response.

I was kind of waiting till the last minute to provide support as there are some ongoing changes in Signals general stack so at the moment I’m not able to provide you with any tips as I’m not sure where things will move forward. Adding our software security architect @parrilla to the thread, maybe he will shed some more light on it. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience!
