New SDK for Angular Applications in Beta
This Community category is here to discuss Auth0’s new SDK for Angular applications, @auth0/auth0-angular, currently in Beta.
The new Auth0 SDK for Angular provides a service wrapped in a module that gives you access to everyday tasks, such as log in, logout, authentication state, and the user profile. Furthermore, we also provide an authentication guard to protect your routes from unauthenticated access and an HTTP interceptor that automatically attaches access tokens to known endpoints.
We have created this new Angular SDK to improve the developer experience when integrating Auth0. This SDK makes it easier to integrate Universal Login into Angular applications, requires fewer lines of code, and takes care of common tasks developers have been previously burdened with, such as safely storing and renewing tokens.
As with any Beta version, it is not recommended for use in production applications as it may be subject to change.
The Beta period will run for a limited time. General Availability is planned later this year (2020).
We will only provide support for this Beta SDK in this Community category.
